Songkran 2011

Songkran in Chiang Saen was wonderful as usual. The weather was rather cool this year, but it didn't stop the young revellers involved in water throwing. The parade through the town was on 17th April and approximately 25 floats and a few hundred people walked down Pahonyothin Road from the town's main gate through the city walls, down to the Mekong River. A great time was had by all.
